MA - a few Swainson's Thrushes

Dull, soggy, rainy conditions over the last two days seem to have brought a few migrant Swainson's Thrushes to Gill. Yesterday (Oct 3rd), I had a brief view of a Catharus thrush at Giving Tree School which I thought most likely a Swainson's and then today three were present in our yard in late afternoon. I can thank Matan for discovering the latter as he 'pushed' them up from the edge of the drive way whilst riding his bike in the rain!

Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers appeared at Giving Tree School and in our yard on Oct. 3rd, and again there was a nice wave of Yellow-rumped Warblers with several Pine Warblers in tow.
