Perhaps appropriate for today's icy blast from the North, my first local Snow Bunting of the fall feeding on the dam wall at Winsor Dam, Quabbin Park. A fly-over Lapland Longspur didn't bother joining him and flew straight on south. My first Snow Bunting of the autumn in 2006 was in exactly the same spot on October 26th!
