Barton Cove, once again, was productive last Sunday (02/05). The small gull flock held five Kumlien's Gulls (all first and second cycle) and 3 Lesser Black Black-backed Gulls (two adults and one first-cycle), though no sign of the previous week's Glaucous. The Kumlien's included a nice range of plumages with one medium-dark bird, the type which often inspires thoughts of Thayer's, at least for a little while.

Ian and I were on the opposite side of the river at the same time and only had three Iceland and two lesser-blacked backed...the advantage of being on the Gill side! Hopefully they get the bridge open in both directions soon!
